"Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime" is a hit single written by musician James Warren (born Bristol, England, August 25, 1951), lead singer of the British pop band The Korgis. Named after the Korg synthesizer, The Korgis were James Warren on vocals and bass, and Andrew Cresswell-Davies (aka Andy Davis) on guitars and keyboards. Unofficial members included violinist Stuart Gordon and keyboardist Phil Harrison.
The song was released in 1980 from the group's second album Dumb Waiters. The single reached number 5 on the UK Singles Chart and number 18 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song topped the singles charts at number 1 in France, number 1 in Spain, number 3 in Netherlands, number 3 in Germany, and number 18 in Australia. This represented the peak of The Korgis' music chart success.
