LITTLE LIES-FLEETWOOD MAC

"Little Lies" is the third single released from British/American band Fleetwood Mac's 1987 album, Tango in the Night.

The song was penned by the band's keyboard player and vocalist, Christine McVie, and her then-husband Eddy Quintela.

When released, the song reached number 5 on the UK Singles Chart and number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. "Little Lies" also went to number 1 on the American adult contemporary chart, where it remained for four weeks. In the UK, "Little Lies" charted at number 82 on 12th September 1987, and peaked at number 5 after 7 weeks of climbing the Top 100.

It was also available as a 12-inch single, featuring an extended dance version, a dub vesion, and a non-album track penned by Christine McVie entitled "Ricky". A limited 12-inch picture disc was also released in the UK. "Little Lies" was also the first Fleetwood Mac single to be issued in cassette form.

The video for the single takes place on a farm with Christine McVie playing on a piano and wanders around with other members of the band.
